This application ("Buddy Timer") is designed with the highest priority on protecting user privacy. Buddy Timer operates under the principle of being "serverless and completely offline," meaning all training routines and settings created by the user are stored exclusively on the device.
1. Types of Information Collected and Purpose of Use
Buddy Timer handles the following information to provide and improve the service, as well as to display advertisements.
A. Information Provided by the User
- Routine Data and Settings: Interval settings and in-app environment settings (volume, themes, etc.) created by the user are saved entirely in the local database on the device. Buddy Timer does not transmit this data to any external servers.
- Inquiry Information: When users contact us via the feedback form (Google Forms), they may be asked to provide information such as an email address if necessary. This information is used solely to respond to inquiries.
B. Automatically Collected Information
Buddy Timer uses the following third-party services to improve app quality and understand usage trends. These services may collect device identifiers and usage statistics in an anonymous format.
- Google Firebase Analytics: Used to statistically analyze app usage (frequency of feature use, screen transitions, etc.) to help improve features.
- Google Firebase Crashlytics: Used to collect technical information when the app crashes (device model, OS version, stack traces at the time of the error, etc.) to help fix bugs.
- Firebase Remote Config: Used to dynamically adjust app features.
C. Information Regarding Advertisement Delivery
- Google AdMob: Buddy Timer displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob to continue offering the app for free.
- Use of Identifiers: Advertising identifiers (such as IDFA for iOS and AAID for Android) may be used to display personalized ads to the user. On iOS devices, tracking is only performed when user consent is obtained in accordance with App Tracking Transparency (ATT).
For information on how these third-party services (B and C above) handle data, please refer to the privacy policy below:
2. Provision of Information to Third Parties
Buddy Timer will not provide a user's personal information to third parties without the user's consent, except when required by law. However, the third-party service providers mentioned in "1-B, C" above (such as Google LLC) may process information according to their respective privacy policies.
3. Data Storage and Deletion
